Valueguard is developing a new financial market that is linked to the characteristics of the housing market. Our aim is to create opportunities for insurance of the market price of homes, conditions for stock trading and various types of saving products, analysis and decision support related to the housing price index.
Nasdaq OMX Valueguard-KTH Housing Index (HOX®)
HOX® is produced in conjunction with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). For financial applications the index is distributed in cooperation with NASDAQ OMX. The index is based on data from, among others, Swedish Mäklarstatistik AB, which compiles data from the Swedish real estate agents. The index gives a very adequate picture of price trends.
